Fire Warden Training

Fire Warden Training is now mandatory due to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which requires that adequate fire safety training for all staff must be provided. Generally a Responsible Person is nominated to manage fire safety within an organisation. This person is the nominated Fire Warden. General training  includes showing new staff the fire exits and giving basic training on what to do in the event of a fire but nominated Responsible Persons must be provided with the relevant training. The Fire Warden must be provided with Fire Warden Training to undertake their responsibilities and duties.

Means of Escape’s ‘Guide to the Nominated Person’  sets out a step by step guide for the nominated person in every business.
