Paddington - restaurant fire
Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to a blaze at a restaurant with flats above on Porchester Road in Paddington. The fire damaged the ground floor of the restaurant and there was heavy smoke throughout the building. The fire also damaged part of the kitchen and ducting from the basement to the roof.
Around 15 people from the restaurant left the building before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 2027 and the fire was under control by 2137. Firefighters from Paddington, Soho, North Kensington and Kensington fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Westminster - car fireFirefighters were called to a car fire in a basement car park on Vauxhall Bridge Road, Westminster in the early hours of this morning. The car was destroyed by the blaze and there was heavy smoke entering the flats above.
Around 15 people left the block of flats before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 0404 and the fire was under control by 0503. Fire crews from Westminster and Lambeth fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Leyton - workshop fireSix fire engines and around 30 firefighters tacked a blaze in a workshop yesterday evening on Argall Avenue, E10. The fire severely damaged the ground floor, first floor, and partly damaged the roof.
Cylinders were reported and a hazard zone of 200 metres was in place for around four hours.
The Brigade was called at 1946 and the fire was under control by 0045. Crews from Leyton, Stoke Newington, Homerton and Tottenham fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Notting Hill - flat fireFire crews were called to a fire at a house converted into flats on Colville Terrace in Notting Hill last night. The fire damaged part of the basement flat.
The body of an older man was found at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 2200 and the fire was under control by 2222. Firefighters from North Kensington and Paddington fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Wimbledon - flat fireFour fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Wandle Bank SW19, in the early hours of this morning. The fire badly damaged a four roomed flat on the first floor and partly damaged the stairwell from the first to the third floor.
A woman left the building before the Brigade arrived. Firefighters rescued four adults and a child from the third floor.
The Brigade was called at 0254 and the fire was under control by 0455. Crews from Wimbledon, Mitcham, Tooting and Norbury fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Kentish Town - flat fireFour fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a six storey block of flats on Greatfield, Islip Street. The fire damaged a store room on the fourth floor of the building.
Ten people were led to safety by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
The Brigade was called at 2219 and the fire was under control by 2300. Crews from Kentish Town, Holloway and Belsize fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Beckenham - warehouse fireTwelve fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a warehouse fireon High Street, Beckenham, in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze has badly damaged the single storey carpet warehouse, as well as a dance studio, glass fabrication unit and snooker hall..
Twenty five peoplehad to be evacuated from the area.
The Brigade was called at 0334.The fire was surrounded at 0925 and out by 1201. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire crews are are expected to remain at the scene for most of the day.

Holborn - flat fireFire crews were called to a fire at a flat on Leather Lane in Holborn this morning. The fire damaged part of the sixth floor property.
The body of an older man was found at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0805 and the fire was under control by 0913. Firefighters from Clerkenwell and Dowgate fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Hoxton - flat fireFour fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a flat blaze in Sherbourne Street, Hoxton last night.
The fire damaged part of the four roomed flat on the first floor and fire crews wearing breathing apparatus led one man to safety.

Catford - warehouse fireFour fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a warehouse fire on Bromley Road in Catford last night. The blaze damaged part of the ground floor.
The Brigade was called at 2155 and the fire was under control by 2251. Fire crews from Downham, Lewisham, Lee Green and Beckenham attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Muswell Hill - flat fireSix fire engines and around 30 firefighters tackled a blaze at a block of flats in Dukes Avenue, Muswell Hill. The fire damaged the ground, first and second floors of the converted three storey house. Six people escaped the building before the Brigade arrived.
Fire crews from Finchley, Southgate, Holloway and Hornsey attended the incident. The Brigade was called at 0619 and the fire was under control at 0917. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Hampstead - flat blazeFour fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat above a shop on Finchley Road, Hampstead in the early hours of this morning. The fire damaged part of the third floor flat and there was smoke throughout the property.
Five people left the property before the Brigade arrived. Two further people from the flat above were led to safety by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
The Brigade was called at 0439 and the fire was under control by 0504. Fire crews from West Hampstead, Belsize and Kentish Town fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
