NATURVENT – ‘SHEV system for residential premises’
Ash Fire Management Ltd introduces its innovative, patented NATURVENT Smoke, Heat and Exhaust Ventilation (SHEV) system. Based on proven systems installed in commercial premises, Naturvent has been tested at the Building Research Establishment and shown to “assist in maintaining visibility and reducing toxic gas concentrations in areas remote from the room of fire origin.”

If a fire breaks out, Naturvent’s sensors will;
· Raise the alarm
· Open the vents in the roof’s fire proof shaft and activate the cyclonic fans
· Inform the local Fire and Rescue Service
· Shut off all electronically controlled gas valves
The toxic gases, heat and smoke are the most destructive elements of the fire and the Naturvent system expels these from the dwelling. This gives two massive benefits:
· Extension of escape time; the occupants remain conscious and so can execute their fire escape plan.
