The AFG Group began over 20 years ago with its range of Flameguard fire retardant and heat resistant coatings. Since then it has developed new products that have been thoroughly tried and tested, first in their own laboratories and then to the highest international standards. “The most exciting AFG product is the Fire Risk Assessment that has been developed by their subsidiary company, Intertec Group bv,” says John Maxfield, CEO of DSPA.uk Ltd. “Their template has been accredited by KIWA in Holland as complying with Dutch standards and they are adapting the template for UK Building Regulations.”
Other products coming to the UK include;
· Flame Guard Intumescent paints & coatings: For most materials; including cables, steel and wood structures, (internal and external).
· Spray mortar: Developed for protecting structures and pipes in the Oil & Natural Gas industries.
· SEAC Passive Fire products: Grills, blocks, dampers, pillows – a wide range of passive fire products.
· Supernova signs: Quality signs providing colour glowing emergency signs for over 16 hours of darkness.
· Design & Consultancy: Compartmentalisation and means-of-escape planning, particularly targeted at the Maritime industries.
Plus of course the DSPA product range of condensed aerosol generators. These fire suppression systems are proving to be a cost effective alternative to other gaseous and water-based sprinkler systems for server, plant or switchgear rooms, voids or similar hard to reach areas.
