West Norwood - flat fire
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze in a block of flats on Salters Hill, SE19, yesterday morning. The fire badly damaged the seventh floor of the building.

An older woman suffering from smoke inhalation, left the property before the Brigade arrived.

The Brigade was called at 0845 and the fire was under control by 0942. Crews from West Norwood and Norbury fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation

Hammersmith - flat fire

Flat damaged by fire on Claxton Grove, W6.

 
Lambeth - flat fire

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a block of flats on Lollard Street SE11, yesterday afternoon. The fire damaged part of the seventh floor lobby area.

Two men were rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

The Brigade was called at 1552 and the fire was under control by 1633. Crews from Lambeth, Southwalk and Old Kent Road fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation

Brigade attended a fire on Hertford Road.

 
Twickenham - fire in disused restaurant

Four fire engine and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze in a disused restaurant on Hampton Court Road, in the early hours of this morning. The fire damaged part of the ground floor of building.

The Brigade was called at 0353 and the fire was control by 0446. Crews from Twickenham, Kingston and Surbiton fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters tackled a blaze in a block of flats on South Norwood Hill, SE25

Paddington - hotel fire

Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to a fire on the fourth floor of hotel on Leinster Terrace, W2, on Friday evening. The fire damaged part of the fourth floor.

Around 50 people evacuated the building. Five people were assisted by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, to safety from the fourth floor. Firefighters rescued a woman, from the fourth floor, using a turntable ladder.

The Brigade was called at 2222 and the fire was under control by 2357. Crews from Paddington and the surrounding area were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

 
Dulwich - fatal fire

A woman has died following a flat fire in Petrel Court, Croxted Road, Dulwich, during the early hours of this morning.

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters tackled the blaze which damaged part of the five roomed flat on the third floor. One other person escaped before the Brigade arrived.

Crews from West Norwood and Forest Hill fire stations attended the incident. The Brigade was called at 0323 and the fire was under control by 0359. The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.

Silvertown - fire in derelict warehouse

Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a blaze in a derelict warehouse on Western Gateway, Canning Town. Part of the warehouse was damaged in the fire.

The Brigade was called at 1623 and the fire was under control by 1721. Crews from Silvertown and Poplar fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Harrow - fire in shop with flats above

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze in a shop with flats above on Woodcock Hill, Kenton, yesterday afternoon. The fire severely damaged the stairwell of the property from the ground floor to the second. Part of the four roomed flat on the first floor was also damaged.

Ten people were assisted out of the property by the Brigade.

The Brigade was called at 1305 and the fire was under control by 1409. Crews from Wembley, Harrow, Willesden and Northolt fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters tackled blaze on Mare Street Hackney.

 
Wandsworth - fire in shop with flats above

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a shop with flats above, on Upper Richmond Road, Putney, SW15, yesterday afternoon. The fire severely damaged ducting in the basement and from the ground floor to the roof.

The Brigade was called at 1318 and the fire was under control by 1429. Crews from Wandsworth, Hammersmith, Wimbledon and Battersea fire station were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Mill Hill - pub fire

Firefighters were called to a fire in a public house on Hammers Lane, early on Sunday morning. The fire damaged part of the first floor of the property.

The Brigade was called at 0112 and the fire was under control by 0144. Crews from Mill Hill and Stanmore fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

 
Edmonton - fire in incinerator plant

Eight fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire in an incinerator plant on Advent Way, N18 on Saturday morning.

Thirteen people left the building before the Brigade arrived.

The Brigade was called at 1158 and the fire was under control by 1354. Crews from Chingford, Tottenham, Hornsey and Edmonton fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Crews from Plumstead, Bexley, Poplar, Eltham, Lee Green, Erith and Woolwich were at the scene.
