Huddersfield Bakery Choose Detectomat's RCP 6B Wireless System
Recognising the inconvenience of installing a hard-wired system for a business, which operates from early morning 7 days a week including the general disruption, mess and dust generated, particularly in a food preparation, persuaded Hartley's management that a wire free solution would have to be sought. The detectomat RCP 6B system includes optical smoke detectors with integral sounders, break-glass call points and heat detectors. The system was recommended by suppliers Firetec because it can be programmed and installed within 3 hours resulting in minimal disruption to the business. The system does not require the installation of separate sounder circuits because all the detectors have integral sounders. In a small premises this is particularly useful because there is no need for wiring which means fast installation and little damage to the fabric of the building or to decoration.
Jason Hartley was pleased with the financial savings. As there was no need for cabling, labour costs were minimal and little or no cleaning of the premises was necessary but, most significantly, there was no loss to business from interruption or disruption of production. There is potential for replication in Hartley's other outlets.
